Covid & Sickness
Whilst we know that you don't have to isolate if you or a family member has tested positive to covid, we ask that you contact us to reschedule your booking if you or your immediate family member has tested positive for covid.
Being that Santa sees many children (and adults) in close contact over the silly season, we want to be able to keep him healthy and free from any illness. We care about everyone, and would be super sad if one of our staff or little visitors got sick, so please help us aim to keep everyone healthy.
So, if you do have covid, or any nasty bug that could be pasted on, please, please, please, give us a call, and we will make sure that we can reschedule your visit with Santa.
What you receive when booking a session
Your session fee will allow up to a MAXIMUM of 5 children and allow up to 3 x different sittings (unlimited adults). This could be 5 children from the same family, cousins, or friends, and not restricted to immediate family. If you have more the 5 children attending, or you would like to purchase more the 3 photos, you must book extra sessions as required. If you are unable to book your extra sessions at the same time, please just choose another time on the same day and we will make sure you are all photographed together.
Booking and Payments
All payments are to be made at the time of booking to secure your session. Payment is via PayPal and your session will not be secured unless your payment has been received.
Booking times are in 15-minute time slots and are reserved for more than one family. The first family to arrive for each time slot will be the first to see Santa. Please note, that if you arrive early for your session, you will not be guaranteed to see Santa at an earlier time.
The maximum number of children allowed per session is five. If a photo with more than five children is required, a second session on the same day is required to be booked.
Each session with Santa allows a maximum of 3 different photos/poses with Santa.
Where more than one photo is required with Santa (as mentioned above) subsequent packages/images are required to be purchased. Therefore, if you choose to have two photos with Santa in your session, then you will be required to purchase two individual packages/images. Each package will contain one photo choice only and cannot consist of different photos/poses.
Safety and Pets
Whilst all care is taken during our photo sessions with Santa, please be aware that Santa’s surfboard can be slippery. JadyBug will take all measures to ensure that children are always safe, however no responsibility will be taken for any falls or injuries during our photo sessions and all decisions to stand on Santa’s surfboard will be in the parent’s hands.
Family pets are welcome to attend their family photos. All locations are pet friendly (please have them on leash) EXCEPT for Redhead. JadyBug Photography takes no responsibility for any animal not complying with Council regulations and/or any fines issued for infringement of these regulations.
Jadybug’s focus for Santa Photos are on our little people, so please be mindful of children that may be scared of pets. If it is noticed that there are anxious children due to pets attending, we may ask that you stand to the side of the shooting area and away from children until your session time arrives.
Should your pet get a little overwhelmed and anxious with all the excitement and/or be afraid of Santa, JadyBug reserves the right to ask that you take some time out with your pet to calm them down. In rare circumstance we may also request that your pet be removed from the area and not participate in the session. This decision will be decided upon by Jade and/or Santa and will not be negotiable. The safety of all our staff members and clients is our number one priority.
Sunglasses, hair, sun, and clouds
We highly recommend that you bring along sunglasses to your session, as some children (and adults) find the glare of the sun a little too bright, and therefore, photos result in squinting eyes. We also recommend that hair is tied back and if possible, hairspray and/or gel is used (even for the boys). Unfortunately, while we try our hardest to avoid these situations, we will not be able to reshoot your photos, or edit them if we have squinting eyes and/or hair in faces.
We try our hardest to avoid as much shadow as possible, however shadows are unavoidable. So please expect that there will be some shadows in your photos. Because we are out in the elements of mother nature, we just cannot predict what the weather is going to be like. As the clouds, sun and wind are out of our control there can sometimes be photos only seconds apart that look completely different to each other as the sun has ducked behind the clouds for a brief moment and returned.
Choice and collection of photos/packages, prints, digital images, and Santa letters
JadyBug’s Santa on the Beach will choose the best photo to print/e-mail. We have always had great success in choosing the perfect photo, and trust that you will love it as much as we do. If you are unhappy with the photo that we have chosen, please make sure you read ALL T&C's before making contact with us.
All prints and/or digital images will be ready within 2 weeks after your session. However, all orders will be complete before 22nd December to ensure you have your photo before Christmas Day.
Digital images will be sent via e-mail. All prints and packages are to be collected from Belmont North. An email notification will be sent advising when your order is ready.
Your personalised letter from Santa will be delivered during the month of December. We will announce on our Facebook page when these have been posted. Please note that delivery can take up to one week, though please advise Jade if you have not received your letter one week after our Facebook notification.
Cancellations and bad weather
Any cancellation made by you, the client, within 48 hours of your session time holds a $32 non-refundable fee.
In the event of a cancelled session due to bad weather JadyBug will endeavour to reschedule your session at a time that is suitable to you. If a suitable time cannot be agreed upon, JadyBug will offer a full refund (including the above-mentioned non-refundable deposit). Please note that if it is cold and cloudy, photos will go ahead, though windy weather will need to be decided upon on the day. If you choose not to turn up to your session as you do not like the weather conditions, this will be classed as a 'no show' and no refund will be available. In the event of rain, we will not decide on cancellation until one hour before our start time. We will post a notice on the JadyBug Facebook page and send out a SMS message to advise. If you don’t see a Facebook message or receive a SMS, then please assume that your photo session is still going ahead. If you are unable to make a rescheduled time on a rained out session, a full refund will be issued.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, JadyBug Photography is required to cancel a session and you are unable to attend a reschedule time than JadyBug will offer a full refund (including the above-mentioned non-refundable deposit).
Refunds of any nature will take 1-2 weeks to process.
